I find it useful for me to have a monthly site checklist handy. That way I set some requirements for myself that I have to complete every month. This checklist is very general because it is for different kinds of sites. Therefore if you don't have the type of content (like graphics, articles, etc) feel free to skip that part.The Checklist Itself
Graphics, Resources & Layouts- 4-6 new banners, blogs, and/or similar
- 4-8 new buttons, blinkies, cursors, and/or similar
- 2-4 new textures
- 2-4 new brushes
- 1-2 new website layout(s)
- 1-3 new non-website layout(s)
- Quality sweep with removal of any graphics, resources, and layouts that do not meet quality standards.
- Staff check and update reports
- Affiliate check
- Verify layout coding
- Update at least 4 times
- Search for broken/missing links
- Spell/grammar check written content
- 2-4 new articles, tutorials, and/or similar
- Archive previous posts
- Quality sweep with removal of any articles, tutorials, or blog posts that do not meet quality standards
Etc.
